“Majorca is Dirt Cheep” was originally created for the Krooked Kansas City Racers show, an art exhibition and boxcar derby. Along with numerous paintings, Mark and Curtis also designed the boxcar Mark raced in the derby.  The infectious joy of this event is clearly evident in the painting.  Boys playing, beer cans and smiling winged creatures accompany Curtis’ infamous “love” scrawl amidst a field of orange creating a visually rich and playful landscape.
